Selected work
Two engagements that show the two halves of the job: holding architectural direction on a program of consequence, and running the budget, the team, and the operations that keep a retail footprint on its feet.

Holding the architecture steady inside a $154M modernization
A three-year enterprise network modernization across more than 6,500 locations, delivered on a compressed timeline while the organization around it was being restructured. Brought in as principal architect to hold technical direction through the transition. Headend designs validated against the program’s projected $80M reduction in structural operating expense.

Taking $85,000 a month out of telecom without taking anything away
Network, voice, and database operations for a retail footprint that grew from 300+ to 400+ stores across 17 states. A $5.2M annual budget and a 39-person delivery organization. Monthly telecom spend cut 28%, and more than 10,000 users moved onto a single communications platform.
Each write-up covers the situation, what I owned, the decisions I made, and what came of them. Figures reflect my public professional record. No client is named, and no architecture, topology, or vendor configuration detail is presented.
